How Do I Get Started?
It couldnt be simpler.
Step One
Working with your professional adviser, make an assessment as to the
amount you wish to invest and also the frequency of your investment i.e.
single (minimum £1500), annual or monthly (minimum £100)
Step Two
A key issue in the process is to consider the term of your investment.
This will have a significant bearing upon both the wines purchased and
the bottle format we select. It is therefore important to choose the most
appropriate term.
Should the requirements of your overall investment be event driven (e.g.
for school fees) and you seek additional flexibility, our experts can
structure a variable portfolio. You may even require a portfolio which
accommodates more than one event. Once again we can advise accordingly.
Please ensure that your requirements are clearly stated.
Step Three
Fill in the application form provided by your professional adviser and
submit payment to Vinum Investments Limited.
Your professional adviser will take care of any remaining administration
and back-up.
Vinum Investments Limited will acknowledge receipt of payment from your
professional adviser. Your application will be processed and once funds
are cleared your portfolio will be purchased. You will receive a Certificate
of Ownership, comprehensive notes on your wine and a half-yearly valuation.
But I already have some wine . . .
Many people have been collecting or investing in wine for a number of
years. During this time their objectives may have changed. This could
therefore be the perfect opportunity to obtain an accurate valuation of
your wine holdings with a view to rebalancing or assessing your basis
for wine acquisition. Alternatively, you may just be curious to know the
value of your cellar. No matter what the purpose,
we are happy to provide an expert valuation free of charge.
Should you then wish to make additional purchases through Vinum Investments
Limited, we would inventory your existing cellar and make recommendations
within the scope of this scheme including your existing holdings.
Please note Vinum Investments Limited are keen to acquire cellars and
investment-grade wine.
Speak to your adviser if this would be of interest.
